We Fight Back
At the Leon Reich Centre for Combatting Antisemitism, we are dedicated to confronting antisemitism and building a future where Jewish communities thrive. We believe cultural change begins with education—because academia shapes culture, and culture drives society.
It takes more than reactive “hasbara” efforts to counter antisemitism effectively. That’s why we, in collaboration with the World Zionist Organization, focus on academic and security knowledge as a vehicle to challenge and change the culture that has normalized Jew-hatred. Our mission is to turn knowledge into action by providing the foundation for practical solutions that combat antisemitism and build pride in Jewish identity.
The outpouring of antisemitism following the October 7th invasion of Israel’s southern area left many Jews around the world feeling alone and afraid, lacking the capability to withstand the overwhelming hate. For centuries, Jews have been recognized as scholars. But we are also warriors and with the right tools, we can fight back, and protect our families, our future, and Western civilization itself.

Our Approach
Reducing antisemitism starts with strengthening Jewish identity. When individuals are rooted in their heritage and confident in who they are, they can stand tall, demand justice, and lead meaningful change. This transformation begins with education and ripples outward, influencing culture and reshaping society.
What We Do
We combine academic study, advocacy, and community initiatives to create real-world impact:
- Educational Programs: Empowering individuals and communities with the tools to counter hate while instilling pride in Jewish identity. Antisemitism, like counter-terrorism, must be countered as a professional endeavor as opposed to its current state of mere political or social tokenism in response to the crisis.
- Advocacy and Policy: Engaging policymakers, media, and institutions to drive concrete measures against antisemitism and hate speech.
- Monitoring, Reporting, and turning the table: Tracking antisemitic incidents globally isn’t enough. The statistical rise in incidents is obvious to everyone. Our contribution is in the ability to analyze trends and apply the data to hold perpetrators accountable and make them pay amendments in finance, loss of prestige, and support.
- Community Support: Providing practical assistance, self-defense training, group defense, cyber training, forensic accounting and other resources to Jewish communities facing threats worldwide.
